Disclosure Etiquette

As streamers and content creators, it's not always immediately obvious what you do and don't need to disclose to your audience.

In situations where you're being paid to stream something, disclosing this fact will usually be obvious however this can become much less obvious when it involves a game/product that a company has sent you for free; this is especially the case in situations where the company involved hasn't given you a contract, an NDA or just haven't specifically stated that you need to disclose this fact.

Many government bodies across the world will have slightly different guidelines but the long and the short of it is that even in a situation where you're using something that a company has sent you for free, this must be disclosed to your audience clearly and in a way that cannot be missed.

The best way you can disclose is by using #AD which MUST be placed at the beginning in your posts and content titles.
