I really enjoyed the game from start to finish - more so than the first game actually. Mechanically the parkour movement can be a little janky from time to time but for the most part it feels incredibly fluid in nature and very satisfying. I personally found the story to be engaging with a number of twists and turns that I genuinely didn't see coming as well as split path decisions which had a significant and long lasting impact on the story. The ragdoll physics of the game, when hitting/killing enemies, were initially a little too comical and over the top however after a couple of patches, this quickly got dialled in and feels a lot more realistic.
The soundtrack by French composer "Olivier Deriviere" is sublime. The track "Empowering Yourself" is by far, not just the best song of the game but in fact, one of the best songs I have ever heard in a game and it fits the mood perfectly during the situations that it's used. While all the songs on their own are fantastic, there is the rare occasion where one or two of the songs don't quite feel like the match the moment but this is more a criticism of the songs placement rather than of the composition of the song.
I have experienced a couple of glitches during my playthrough but this was a rare occurrence. Were they annoying to experience? In the moment yes however due to the nature of how the game saves progress, I only ever lost a minimal amount of progress. The glitches I personally experienced all involved clipping through buildings - for example, paragliding and faceplanting into the side of a building but instead continuing through the building as if it wasn't there or on another occasion, clipping through the world floor upon loading into the game.
Despite this, my main criticism of the game is actually the implementation of the free DLC which is annoying and completely unnecessary - Both of the DLC (at the time of writing) are split into 3 parts each and they have to be redeemed one at a time, requiring the game to be launched and restarted after every single part.
